What are some examples of living things, other than the groups of animals?

Living things are not limited to animals. There are also other lifeforms here on Earth.They are listed below with their description.

Plants - plants are the major producers on Earth. They are able to produce their own food with sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. Many animals eat plants as their staple source of energy for living.
Bacteria - these are single-celled organisms which can live in large groups called colonies. Some bacteria are good for humans and animals while some can cause deadly diseases. They are used by humans in various ways like producing medicine, food, and drinks.
Archaebacteria - these are ancient lifeforms which are similar to bacteria. They are also single-celled and live in extreme conditions. They can live near the mouths of volcanoes, acidic environments, and even extremely salty environments.
Protists - these are divided into many groups ,they sometimes resemble fungi, animals, or plants. Some of them are also microscopic, for example the amoeba, and some are macroscopic, like the seaweed or algae.
Fungi - these are the group of mushrooms. However, mushrooms are just a small part of the fungi kingdom. Most of them are microscopic. Humans have long used them to create food or drinks e.g. bread and wine.
